Expoquimia 2008- 1953 Creation of Luwa Española, a subsidiary of Luwa AG, Zurich, in Barcelona.
- 1970 Installation of the first cleanroom at the Almirall Laboratories.
- 1980 Creation of a department exclusively dedicated to the design and installation of clean areas.
- 1993 Opening of our office in Madrid and start of our activity in Portugal.
- 2000 Installation of over 100 clean areas in Spain and Portugal. Debut in the biosafety sector.
- 2006 Luwa became part of the industrial group Emte, as an independent company in its mechanical installations unit.
- 2008 Opening of our offices in Andalusia and Lisbon (Portugal).
- 2009 The groups COMSA and EMTE merged into a new group which represents the 8th group of infrastructures and technology in Spain.
- 2010 Birth of the trademark EMTE CLEANROOM TECHNOLOGY. Opening of our offices in Buenos Aires (Argentine) and Toulouse (France).
